2. How we use your information

  • To process and deliver your orders, including sharing your shipping details with our fulfillment partners and carriers
  • To send order confirmations, shipping updates and customer support replies
  • To prevent fraud and keep the Site secure
  • To improve the Site and our products
  • To send marketing emails or texts only if you opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only with service providers who help us run the store, including:

We keep order information for as long as needed for accounting, tax and legal purposes, and other information only as long as needed for the purposes above.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and pixels to keep your cart working, understand how the Site is used, and show relevant ads. You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, our cookie banner. Opt-out tools:

6. Your rights — California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

  • Correct inaccurate personal information
  • Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising
  • Not be discriminated against for using these rights

To make a request, email support@vellanook.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We will verify your identity before responding. You may also use an authorized agent. Where our ad pixels count as "sharing" under California law, you can opt out using the "Your Privacy Choices" link in the footer or by enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser.

Other US states (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut and others) give similar rights. We honor these requests for residents of those states too.

7. Your rights — EU, EEA and UK residents (GDPR)

We process your data to perform our contract with you (fulfilling orders), based on our legitimate interests (running and improving the store, preventing fraud), with your consent (marketing, non-essential cookies), and to meet legal obligations. You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Your data may be transferred outside your country, including to the United States, using appropriate safeguards.

8. Children

The Site is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date shows when it was last changed.
